Sources tell us that House Bill 2213, which calls for a constitutional amendment to prevent eminent domain abuse in North Carolina, is scheduled to be heard in the House Judiciary III Committee at 10:00 am this morning. The bill was introduced by Rep. Paul Stam (Wake). We will keep you posted as we learn more.
